Terms of Service
Last updated October 18, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of causora.site and, where applicable, the Causora early-access platform (together, the "Services"), provided by Causora ("Causora", "we", "us"). By using the Services you agree to these Terms. If you use the Services on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to accept these Terms for it.
1. The Services
Causora provides software that detects changes in business metrics, investigates related data from systems you connect, and presents hypotheses about possible causes, estimated impact and recommended actions. The platform is currently offered through an early-access program. Features may change, and some functionality shown on the website, including the interactive demo, uses fictional sample data for illustration.
2. Accounts and access
Platform access is granted by invitation. You are responsible for keeping credentials confidential, for all activity under your account, and for telling us promptly about any unauthorised use.
3. Customer responsibilities
- You must have the rights and permissions needed to connect any data source and to let Causora process that data.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you provide and for decisions you make using the Services.
- You must comply with applicable laws, including data protection laws, in your use of the Services.
4. Acceptable use
You may not: misuse or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Services or related systems; interfere with their operation or security; reverse engineer them except where the law allows; use them to process data you have no right to process; or use them to build a competing product.
5. Nature of AI outputs
Causora's hypotheses, confidence levels, impact estimates and recommendations are generated from statistical analysis and AI models. They indicate the strength of supporting evidence, not proof of cause, and may be incomplete or incorrect. You should review outputs before acting on them. Causora does not provide legal, financial or other professional advice.
6. Intellectual property
Causora and its licensors own the Services, including software, models, designs and documentation. You keep all rights to your data. You grant Causora a limited licence to process your data only to provide and support the Services for you. Feedback you choose to give may be used to improve the Services without obligation to you.
7. Fees
Paid plans, where applicable, are billed as agreed at sign-up or in an order form. Pricing published on the website may change; changes will not apply to a period you have already paid for.
8. Confidentiality and data
Each party will protect the other's confidential information with reasonable care. Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy. Specific data-processing terms for connected customer data are set out in the agreement for your workspace.
9. Disclaimers
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available", particularly during early access. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Causora disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and does not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free or that outputs will be accurate.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Causora will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Causora's total liability arising from the Services will not exceed the amount you paid to Causora for the Services in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 100 if you have paid nothing.
11. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or end access if you breach these Terms or if needed to protect the Services or other users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms. The "Last updated" date shows the current version. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Causora is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless a written agreement with you states otherwise.
